Meals, Entrees, and Sidedishes

Meals are those foodstuffs, which we eat during the lunchtime and dinner and suppertime. It may be heavy like banquets or simple, just like we take in our home.
Entrées are the starters. Entrees we take at the beginning of the main course of meal. Sometimes these items help to increase our appetite. In North America, entrées are considered as the main course. In ancient France, entrées denote the entrance of the main course. Side dishes are the items we used to take along with the main course. It adds to the taste of the meal.
All the said items can be vegetarian or non-vegetarian. As we see with other kind of foods, meals, entrees and side dishes are different in different countries and dissimilar among various ethnic groups present in a country.
