Yellow cake

Yellow cakes are a kind of dessert cake that incorporates all the basic ingredients of a traditional cake like wheat flour, eggs, sugar and butter. Traditionally some yellowish agent like vanilla essence is used. Other ingredients like different kinds of dried fruits like raisins, currants, cherries are added to make the white cake tastier.
Different types of toppings are used for yellow cake. The color of the cake should be yellowish, not dark yellow. Different types of frostings are used here also. It include butter cream, marzipan etc. A red cherry is placed on the top of the frosting to give it a better look.
